Coon's poetry has appeared in several journals, including <I>Northeast Corridor</I>, <I>Proteus</I>, <I>The Lyric</I>, <I>Earth's Daughters</I>, and <I>Women's Studies</I>, and in the anthology<I> Literature:  Reading Fiction, Poetry, Drama and the Essay</I> (McGraw-Hill).  She is a Professor in the Department of Language and Literature in the College of Liberal Arts at Rochester Institute of Technology and also teaches creative writing workshops for Writers & Books in Rochester, New York.
