This includes many school districts here in Upstate New York, where I live, and also in many other states. That work encompassed working with grades K - 12 and included poetry, journal writing and storytelling. </div> <bR> <div> Presently I am no longer working long residencies but am available for one or two-day visits to a school. In either case, the visit would be for a whole school day, not just an assembly program, though that could be part of the presentation, depending on the interest/needs of the school. </div> <bR> <div> A short residency can be grade specific or can include visits to Kindergarten and Senior High or any grades in-between. Also, visits to individual classrooms can be focused in different ways. One may be about haiku, another about journal writing, the next about the life of a poet or sharing oral memoirs. I'm flexible and easy-going and will work with the interests of the specific teachers.</div> <bR> <div> Other pages on this website give possibilities of what I can offer.
