Day 10
Cormorants and Laughing Gull
From the far point of Pemaquid Point. About as far out as you can hike
on the point. Notice lighthouse in far distance on the right.
Another Flower in the rocks. Can anyone help on this? I wondered
if wild caraway, but I don't have a flower book with me, left it home
for Chapin to use. Identified as Great Angelica, thanks to David.
Silverweed with rocks and tree. I liked the overall
feel of this scene.
Rocks out by Kresge's Point. Different than Acadia's block granite chunks.
In the evening I had the reading at Fernald's in Waldoboro. Four people were there and we had a good evening of poems and stories. Three younger people, 20s-ish and another person two years younger than me. We all enjoyed the evening and one person mentioned that he could think of 10 people who should have been there. Building an audience for next time.
